Lyssa Rowan, B.A.

Lyssa Rowan started working for JAN in June 2008 as a Program Assistant, moved to Social Media/Web Coordinator in September 2009, and began her current position of Web Developer in January 2021. Her duties range from managing the AskJAN.org website, maintaining JAN's social networking presence, co-producing JAN’s webcast events, and assisting with keeping JAN's organization and product database up to date. Lyssa is trained in the design of accessible technology and accessibility compliance and conformity and ensures that JAN's website, social networking, and multimedia presentations are accessible.

Lyssa holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry from West Virginia University.

In her free time, Lyssa enjoys playing video games, knitting, and taking care of her menagerie of furry and scaly pets.
