James Potts, M.S.

James Potts started at the Job Accommodation Network (JAN) in 2015 as a practicum and internship student. After completing his graduate degree, he was hired as a JAN Consultant, and was later promoted to the position of Senior Consultant on the Cognitive/Neurological Team. James assists employers, individuals with disabilities, rehabilitation professionals, and others in better understanding rights and responsibilities under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). He also works with JAN customers to brainstorm accommodation solutions to maintain or improve current employment situations.

James is an Army Veteran who served in Operation Iraqi Freedom. His military experience makes him exceptionally qualified to assist JAN customers who are Veterans who would like to receive accommodation and ADA guidance from a fellow Veteran.

James earned a Master of Science degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from West Virginia University (WVU).
