TrekDesk

Overview

Most of us at one time or another in our lives face unexpected challenges or events which test our creativity, resolve and will. A combination of challenges led to the invention of the TrekDesk Treadmill Desk. A severe accident dramatically changed the life of TrekDesk inventor, Steve Bordley, placing him in a wheel chair for six months, and rendering him unable to walk without the assistance of a walker, crutches, and eventually a cane, for more than two years. This sedentary period had a profoundly challenging impact on his previously active life. Faced with severe neuropathy from his leg injury, back problems from extended inactivity, and increases in weight, cholesterol, and blood pressure, Bordley was unable to exercise in a conventional fashion, so he was forced to improvise.
