GED Test Preparation

The General Education Development (GED) Credential is an alternative to a traditional high school diploma. The GED can be earned by qualified individuals who pass a series of tests in 5 subjects-- Language Arts/Reading, Language Arts/Writing, Social Studies, Science, and Mathematics. Passing the tests requires successful completion of multiple choice questions and an essay on a familiar topic. Preparation materials and/or courses might be offered by an organization that administers a particular examination, a local learning center, or a variety of independent vendors.
