Technical Signs for Science & Mathemathics

The Technical Signs Project was established at Rochester Institute of Technology's National Technical Institute of the Deaf to facilitate effective and precise communication in academic and career environments through the establishment of a nationally-based system for collecting, evaluating, selecting, recording and sharing signs used in these environments. The basic tenet of this project is that usage by content experts who are skilled sign language communicators is the determiner for signs selected for recording. An excellent resource material for professionals and students.
