POS System for Visually Impaired and Blind
This system will announce the items and modifiers that are added to the system. The voice-out functionality makes it easy for visually impaired staff to ring up sales and process payment.
iTab POS is able to navigate the order entry screen using text-to-speech technology but also possibly built-in audible prompts and responses. For example, all items or products being rung up will be announced one by one.
In addition to the products being voiced out, modifiers will also be announced as they are selected, along with the price of each modifier being added. If your menu has many modifiers and customization options, this is very handy!
As items are being rung up, prices on each item will be announced. When the cashier or server goes to collect full payment at the end, the total due on the order will be announced. This helps to depend less on the honesty of the customer.
