Chattervox with Transdermal Neck Microphone
The Chattervox voice amplification system is a compact, personal system that provides up to 15dB of speech amplification for mild to moderate speech impairments. Weighing less than a pound, the Chattervox is lightweight and it's simple to operate. Runs on rechargeable NiMH batteries that provide up to 14 hours of continuous talk time. Regular AA batteries can be used in an emergency (do NOT plug the charger in while regular AA batteries are in the compartment).
The unit is usually worn at the front of the waist much like a "fanny pack" that would hold your wallet. The woven nylon waist band is adjustable to 44".
Transdermal Microphone - Meant for esophageal speakers, this microphone is worn around base of neck with the microphone resting in the "sweet spot" of your neck for more sensitive response.
