Organization: South Carolina Protection and Advocacy

Since 1977 P&A has been an independent, statewide, non-profit corporation that protects and advances the legal rights of people with disabilities.

Under annual priorities set by a volunteer Board of Directors, P&A investigates reports of abuse and neglect and advocates for disability rights in areas such as health care, education, employment and housing. P&A serves people of all ages and disabilities. P&A does not charge for its services.
