The USBLN’s Going for Gold (GFG) Program has had exceptional results in supporting companies to hire people with disabilities. Leslie Wilson, US Business Leadership Network’s Vice President of Workplace Initiatives, and Deb Dagit, Principal of Deb Dagit Diversity and Consultant for the GFG Program, will talk about the program’s successes as well as its focus to connect participating corporate partners with USBLN subject matter experts (SMEs) thereby uniting the company and SMEs around disability inclusion through leading practices and tools. USBLN SMEs are recognized leaders in disability inclusion and work closely with the 20 participating Fortune/Global 500 companies that are spreading disability inclusion across their enterprises using USBLN tools and other resources. Participating GFG companies are: 3M, Amazon, BAE Systems, Bank of America, Boston Scientific, CSX, Comcast NBCUniversal, Dell, DuPont, Facebook, General Motors, Grainger, McKesson, Mastercard, Pacific Gas & Electric, Qualcomm, TD Bank, Thermo Fisher Scientific, Thomson Reuters & Voya Financial. GFG is funded by the Poses Family Foundation, the May & Stanley Smith Charitable Trust, the Institute for Career Development, and through corporate matching funds.
