Get to Work! – Leveraging Workplace Flexibility to Improve Employee Presence
Date: Tuesday June 16, 2020 (This event is in the past.)
Training Type: Remote Monthly Series Training
Description:
Working 9 to 5 isn’t the only way to make a living anymore, and workplace policies related to when and where work is performed continue to evolve to allow employees the flexibility that is needed to be productive at work and also manage personal and disability-related needs. Workplace programs that allow for telework and flexible work schedules can enable all employees to balance work and non-work responsibilities. These programs can also normalize workplace flexibility, making the need to request disability-related accommodations a non-issue. This JAN training will explore ADA issues related to attendance, working at home, modified schedules, and workplace policies, and also offer accommodation solutions intended to improve employee presence.
Presenters:
- Tracie DeFreitas , Program Leader, Director of Training, Services, and Outreach
