Digital Accessibility is the new horizon for workplace inclusion. Having staff in place who understand the needs of people with disabilities is key to your success in both purchasing and developing accessible and usable workplace technology. More accessible and usable technology creates a productive and innovative workplace for all. The Job Accommodation Network (JAN) recently released our refreshed Workplace Accommodation Toolkit, including a new drawer of resources for IT Professionals. Participants of this webcast will get a glimpse into the new Toolkit features while listening to a conversation between Lou Orslene, JAN Associate Director, and Kara Zirkle, Digital Accessibility Expert and Training & Compliance Manager for eSSENTIAL Accessibility. Ms. Zirkle has over 18 years’ experience working in the field of disabilities and education/outreach. She is an advocate and educator with regard to providing awareness and guidance on accessibility, assistive technologies implementation of accessibility into the business life cycle.
