Workstation

The term workstation can mean a lot of different things depending on the job. It could be a desk in a home or office, common area on a hospital floor, garage bay, checkout counter, truck cab or vehicle, seat on an airplane, classroom, security checkpoint, or any number of other work spaces. Access to and within these areas is critical to employing people with disabilities. Basically, they must be able to get into these areas in order to work. There is also the issue of establishing chemical or fragrance-free zones around a workstation, which can be complex depending on the workstation and industry.
