4-channel Infrared Receiver

The WIR RX22-4N is a four-channel selectable, infrared receiver compatible with transmitters operating on the 2.3/2.8/3.3/3.8 MHz bandwidth. Dual infrared detectors maximize sensitivity and operating range.  Range of up to 28,000 square feet (2,600 square meters) in single-channel mode when used with a Williams Sound WIR TX925 or WIR TX90 infrared system. Comfortable, body-pack design features convenient channel selector and easy-to-use on/off volume control. The RX22-4N can be used with mono or stereo headphones, earphones or a neckloop (lanyard included).

Digi-Wave 400 Receiver (Alkaline Batteries)

The Digi-Wave™ system is a digital spread-spectrum (DSS), simultaneous two-way wireless listening system. Using it’s frequency-hopping algorithm, it avoids interference and is a very secure method of communication. The Digi-Wave communication system allows users to listen and talk to one another wirelessly in a variety of scenarios.

A Digi-Wave system consists of at least one transceiver (DLT 400) and various combinations of transceivers and receivers (DLR 400 RCH or DLR 400 ALK). Combinations of one or more DLT’s and DLR’s can be used to facilitate different events, depending on what needs to be spoken and what needs to be heard. Typical scenarios include:

  • Guided Tours – with one or more tour guides (2-way), with audience participation (2-way), or without audience participation (1-way)
  • Language Interpretation – one or more interpreted languages transmitted to audience (1-way)

The Digi-Wave™ system is a digital spread-spectrum (DSS), simultaneous two-way wireless listening system. Using it’s frequency-hopping algorithm, it avoids interference and is a very secure method of communication. The Digi-Wave communication system allows users to listen and talk to one another wirelessly in a variety of scenarios.

A Digi-Wave system consists of at least one transceiver (DLT 400) and various combinations of transceivers and receivers (DLR 400 RCH or DLR 400 ALK). The next-generation Hearing HotSpot™ system features everything you need to stream multiple channels of audio in real time over an enterprise Wi-Fi network.   Once a system is installed in a venue, the software license is activated by Williams Sound based on the number of channels (up to 32 per server box, either Analog or Dante™) at that venue.  Venue controlled advertising/messages, made available through simple web portal and system updates, are delivered to the venue without on-site visits.

Large area Multi-channel Infrared Emitter

The powerful WIR TX9 DC emitter produces a wide-angle infrared signal that concentrates IR energy efficiently in the listening area. Operating on the 2.3-3.8 MHz bandwidth, the WIR TX9 DC is less susceptible to radio and lighting interference. Each WIR TX9 DC emitter can cover up to 30,000 sq. feet (2,787 sq. meters) in single-channel operation. The coverage area can be easily increased by daisy-chaining additional WIR TX9 DC emitters. A wall/ceiling omnidirectional mount is included, and stand kits are available for portable operation.

Medium-area Infrared System with Stethoset Receivers IR SY4

The IR T2 is a commercial-grade, medium-area infrared transmitter for accessible audio. This system features Stethoset receivers.

The IR T2’s sleek, compact footprint is ideal for assistive listening and language interpretation in commercial spaces such as conference rooms, assisted living facilities, small cinema/theaters, classrooms and courtrooms. The new IR T2 infrared transmitter offers 50 percent greater coverage than the previous IR device (WIR TX75) and new control system readiness — all at a more affordable price. With a significantly wider coverage pattern and more power, there is no need for the additional expense of secondary units.

Personal FM Listening System

PLA 240

SMALL ROOM LOOP AMPLIFIER

The PLA 240 is able to supply living quarters or small conference rooms up to approx. 540 sq. ft. (50 sq.m) with inductive audio signals via the loop connected. The system includes 120 ft. (37 m) induction loop wire. In addition to settings for basic volume and tone, the digitally controlled induction loop amplifier uses Automatic Gain Control to stabilise the volume for fluctuating input levels. The device is able to accommodate the connection of up to 5 audio sources. The desired source can be selected at the touch of a button.  An included remote control provides power, volume, tone and input selection.

Compact and easy to install, this portable induction loop system readily accommodates individuals with hearing difficulties--at a bank teller window, information desk, store counter or anywhere customers/visitors need to hear what is being said. The PLA 90 picks up external voices with an integrated microphone or with an optional external microphone. The PROLOOP FSM Plus accurately measures the magnetic field strength of induction loop systems, according to IEC 60118-4:2006 and BS 6083, Para. 4. Designed for professional use, PROLOOP FSM Plus delivers reliable RMS values on the output level, response frequency, Automatic Gain Control (AGC) function, distortion and background noise in the tested induction loop. In addition, it enables the user to make an acoustic evaluation of the sound via earphones.

PPA T46 Transmitter Personal PA® Body-Pack Transmitter

The PPA T46 transmitter will broadcast a speaker’s voice or audio program on one of 17 available channels, 72-76 MHz, to listeners using PPA R38 or PPA R37 receivers. The unit features flexible microphone and auxiliary input jacks, push-button on/off/mute controls, channel lock and selectable compression.  The T46 has the ability to operate in dual channel mode, allowing the user to easily switch between two different transmitting channels, each with its own set up parameters.  An OLED screen displays current operating status and menu information.  The PPA T46 operates up to 30 hours on two (2) AA Alkaline batteries, and up to 20 hours with two (2) NiMH batteries.  It has recharge capability when used with Williams Sound drop-in chargers. Lightweight and portable, the PPA T46 will operate at a range of up to 150 feet (46m) from the listening audience. Ideal for providing hearing assistance to students in the classroom, tour group participants, employee training, business meetings and more.
