Overview
With the mission to make every day easier for people with visual impairments, LVI Low Vision International designs and develops products with high standards for reliability, simplicity and serviceability.
LVI was founded in 1978 and is one of the world´s leading manufacturers of vision aids. Our head office is located in Växjö, Sweden, and we have subsidiaries in Denmark, Norway, Schwitzerland, Germany and the US. In total we are about 60 people working within the company group and through our subsidiaries and distributors, we are well represented worldwide.
LVI both develops, produces and sells visual aids. All development and manufacturing takes place in our head office in Sweden. It is a great advantage to have everything within the building, from product development to finished product as well as sales and service. New products are developed in close cooperation with users and professionals within the low vision rehabilitation industry. Our products are sold under the registered trademark MagniLink.
In the year of 2018, LVI celebrated 40 years in the industry. With a wider product range and strength both nationally and internationally, LVI will work towards even more innovative solutions that will make every day easier for people with visual impairments.

MagniLink One
A foldable, user friendly video magnifier for a better everyday life. The unit with article number ML-ONE-2V comes without reading table and the unit with article number ML-ONE-2A has an integrated reading table.
MagniLink S Premium 2
MagniLink S Premium 2 is the ultimate video magnifier for you with high demands on both quality and mobility. It offers superior image quality, modern technology and really smart features. It’s also easy to carry, for example, between home and school or a workplace – and can be connected to a computer (PC/Mac/Chromebook) or a monitor. Thus, you can choose the features and options that fit your needs.

The MagniLink TAB is a complete and mobile tablet solution with high performance and user-friendly operation. It’s space saving design makes it ideal for use in different locations – perfect for people on the go!
A complete solution
This tablet solution based on a Microsoft Surface Pro with 12.3” screen gives the user a complete mobile solution. The unit is perfect for any smaller task, as well as for long term reading. Use it as a video magnifier with built in OCR, or as a complete computer with access to everything – gives endless possibilities!
Use the internal camera for reading or the high quality external camera for both distance and close-up viewing. This gives optimized possibilities for reading, writing and object viewing.
Connect and communicate
MagniLink TAB is easily connected to your network with WiFi and you can use different accessories connected with Bluetooth. Internet and other standard applications are only a click away – with MagniLink TAB you can easily communicate with the rest of the world!
Flexibility
MagniLink TAB has a touch screen with low vision adapted buttons. You can also control the unit by gestures or connect a Bluetooth keyboard and control it by hotkeys. The functionality is adaptable to the individual user by removing and customizing features.
Listen to your text
The high performance software is included and with the built in OCR and Text to Speech, your text can be read aloud for the best possible experience. Several different viewing modes are available for increased reading speed, reading endurance and a more relaxed reading!
Truly mobile

MagniLink Vision TTS
The MagniLink Vision TTS can read text aloud character by character, word by word, line by line or paragraph by paragraph. The text and speech are perfectly synchronized so you can read along as the system reads to you. To maximize your reading pleasure, you can adjust the magnification level, colors, contrast, and reading speed to your personal perference. This makes it easy to actively follow the text, but it is also possible to sit back and listen to the whole text – with the internal speakers or with connected headphones. Or turn down the volume, and read the text as it is displayed on the screen at a speed and magnification level that is just right for you. This mode can be very helpful for people with dyslexia and other cognitive issues.
MagniLink Voice 2
A reading machine scans printed text and reads it up using a speech synthesizer. LVI offers the proprietary MagniLink Voice 2, which stands out with its cutting-edge design and it is fast and very easy to use.

MagniLink Zip Premium FHD 13
MagniLink Zip Full HD 13 comes with a Full HD reading/distance camera and mirror mode. Full HD provides the greatest image quality available and is also the best choice for RP users because it offers incredible contrast and low initial magnification.
It's easy to fold and unfold the system and to carry it between different locations. A battery with up to 5 h operation time is available as option for convenient use. Other options are a smooth X/Y table providing convenient reading, computer connection and software for TTS Text To Speech (available for both PC and Mac) that makes it possible to listen to printed text.
