eSight Electronic Glasses
eSight electronic glasses are another example of camera-based wearable technology. A camera in the center of the device takes pictures of what the wearer is looking at in real time. The video feed is then sent to a computer within the device, which is electronically enhanced. The feed is then projected in color on the screens in front of the wearer’s eyes. The user can also adjust color, contrast, and enlarge what they are seeing. This device also allows the wearer to take photos and videos. eSight claims to enable people with low vision to see.
