ADA | Accessibility Consulting
LCM's accessibility practice has an architect’s understanding of the aesthetics and business implications of modifications to a building, site, or campus. They outline reasonable, cost effective strategies to assist clients in making informed decisions that integrate design and accessibility. Their accessibility specialists are experienced professionals and many are licensed architects, Certified Access Specialist Program professionals, Registered Accessibility Specialists, and Certified Accessibility Inspectors/Plan Examiners.
LCM provides detailed assessments of existing properties for design and construction accessibility compliance with the ADA and other federal, state, and local building codes. Surveys range from a single building, to a multisite initiative, to a campus involving hundreds of buildings, parking lots, and exterior routes. Reports identify deficiencies and may include remediation options, prioritization, architectural drawings, and cost estimates for barrier removal.
