Transportation

People with disabilities may have limitations that interfere with their ability to drive, to drive for long distances or at night, or to use available transportation, all of which can affect their ability to get to and from work as well as their ability to travel for work when required. Under the ADA, employers may have to provide accommodations for some transportation issues, but not for others. For additional information, see JAN's A to Z by Topic: Transportation To and From Work and Travel on the Job.
