Description:
Many employers understand it’s not their responsibility to furnish personal use items, those items needed both on and off the job, as a form of reasonable accommodation. But are there times a personal use item may evolve into a work-related item or accommodation? Perhaps. What about if an employee chooses not to use personal use items, do employers still have to consider reasonable accommodations? Perhaps. Join JAN Motor Consultants as they go over some common and not so common issues when deciphering between what is considered a personal use item and what is considered a reasonable accommodation in this JAN training.
Presenters:
- Lisa Mathess , Principal Consultant, ADA Specialist
- Matthew McCord , Senior Consultant – Motor Team
